At our regular breakfast meeting on January 15, 2014, the Rotary Club of Shady Brook donated $2,000. to “SHELTERBOX USA”, an international disaster relief charity that provides temporary shelter and lifesaving supplies to displaced families.
This assistance went to the Philippines where Typhoon Haiyan, a category 4 storm struck in early November. Pictured are Art Finkle Club Treasurer, Dick Isackson PGD, Dr. Augie Adrid Past Club President and Bob Morris Past Club President and Past AG.
