On June 20th, our Club hosted its 10th annual charity golf outing at the Philmont Country Club. The weather picture-perfect, but the golf course was in suburb condition!
Moreover, we had a record number of participants and set a record for the monies we raised to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and the Guardians of the National Veterans Cemetery in Washington Crossing.
In addition to the tournament, golfers were able to test their skills in a longest drive, a closest-to-the-pin on each of the Par 3s, putting contest and in a unique event on the driving range where the goal was to see who could hit a marshmallow the furthest using the club of their choice. Prizes, a raffle, a 50/50 drawing and a silent auction all added to the day’s excitement.
