Our Invitation:   Please join us for an opportunity to support and give-back to our local communities and organizations while enjoying the camaraderie and friendship of many like-minded neighbors … and having the chance to hear from and interact with a variety of extremely interesting and sometimes controversial speakers at our weekly meetings.

Our Mission: We are a local chapter of Rotary International, a non-sectarian organization which endeavors to bring together business, professional leaders as well as retirees to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.

Our Members: Our members strive to live up to the Rotary’s motto of “Service Above Self”, generously providing their time and financial support while utilizing the experiences, skills and contacts they’ve acquired over their lifetimes to support to the Club’s many initiatives to make their communities better environments in which to live and work.

Our Meetings:   Our meetings are generally highlighted by a diverse group of stimulating speakers, including; nearly all of the major and minor party candidates for state, local and federal offices; representatives of our local school board, teachers’ union, police department and town supervisors; executives of the local print media; Democratic and Republican County Chairpersons; all of our County Commissioners; the County District Attorney; the PA State Gaming Board chairman; representatives from many of our regional educational and cultural institutions; local Emergency Squad instructors, including hands-on CPR training; university presidents and professors; self-help specialists; Veterans; the USO; social service organizations; the ACLU; cardiologists, orthopedists and other physicians who typically treat maladies typically affecting older people; a computer installation and problem-solving expert; and representatives of many of the causes we actively support.

Just a Few of Our Beneficiaries:  Guardians of the National Cemetery in Washington Crossing, Pediatric Section of St. Mary Medical Center Emergency Department, Alex’s Lemonade, Angel Flight East, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, American Red Cross, Ovarian and Prostate Cancer, local food banks, ADAH Awareness, Children’s Hospital (CHOP), Juvenile Diabetes Foundation,  Operation Warm, Susan G. Korman for the Cure, the Salvation Army, Philadelphia’s inner-city William Dick School, Astra Zeneca’s Hope Lodge, Parkinson Foundation, Chris Jones Memorial Fund, funding of a fresh drinking water well project in a remote Philippine village, Haitian Earthquake Relief, Baton Rouge Flood Relief, Typhoon Hayian Relief in the Philippines, PENNDOT’s Adopt-A-Highway, in-kind donations for many deployed Servicemen and women as well as for Veterans’ hospitals, providing courtesy rides to the polls on election days for those unable to drive … and also award scholarship monies to a local Maple Point Middle Students-of-the-Month and a Neshaminy Student-of-the-Year.
